Default OVAL/BASH?

I am looking for a truck that i can race oval and also use just to bash around the neighborhood. i dont have a ton of money to spend maybe 400. i was thinking a jato, firestorm, or one of the mt2's. also would the 4wd help with the drift in the dirt oval?

well you cant beat 4wd but it wont drift as well as a 2wd. I have my Jato set up for dirt track and it does really well.

The rules for our oval track are 2wd, single speed tranny. I use a firestorm, but the availability of parts is kinda a downer. None of the tracks I go to carry HPI. Rustlers, GT10s, and the XXX-NT are proven winners with wide part supply, as well as many upgrades.

I would say the jato for oval part becuase i have one. But if u get some thing with 4wd ill be good too like some times i wish my jato had 4wd but 4wd makes it also kinsa slower i think.

So i would say jato and jato comes pretty fast right out of them box.

i think anything would work, as long as you have good throttle control and a good set up.
