to install a boost bottle you need to drill into your crank case, i wouldn't do and really don't know anyone that would. also i think it voids any warranty

Are you sure about drilling into your crankcase? I thought you drilled into the carb which easily comes off the motor and can be cleaned np.

Yes , you have to drill into the crankcase below the carb and if drilling in the wrong spot you can ruin the engine . Like 46U mentioned there are better ways to spend money along with a boost bottle doesn`t do much that is going to help you . IMO the same goes for super chargers .

I read somewhere i think a magazine that it shortens your engine life and only gives you a slight boost. If you think about the boost is just adding more oxygen to your fuel mixture and not adding any more fuel so you are running our engine lean... Skip the upgrade and just get a better engine if you want more speed in the jato...

Boost bottles and superchargers both fall into the category of snake oil and are a waste of money. They both add weight and at best do next to nothing, nothing at all or at worst shorten the life of your engine. Follow everyone in this posts' advice and spend that money on something else, like a better engine or tires. At least the weight they add is offset by a boost in performance. It is hard to believe these items are still available on the market, (the supercharger is still on the upgrades page for the MT2 on Tower's site) I guess as long as there is money to be made they will be around.
Good thing there are helpful people like those here on RC universe to inform others not to waste their cash on these worthless items.
