get the OS18CVRX, the OS15CV is an outdated motor, its also discontinued now
With the OS18 u will need the alloy diff gear cause the power of the OS18 will shred the diff gear quite easily lol
Stock pipe and header work great with it, its 1 of the only pipes around made for a 18 motor
Side exaust motors are the ones u see with the long hold on the side of the motor, ie side exaust
Rear exaust exit out the rear of the motor (above the PS or Roto start) and are a round port as apposed to side which is a rectangle port

towerhobbies has the OS18CVRX for 110USD prolly the best price u will find 1 for.
Theres to many pipes to comment on really, ive only used the stock pipe on the vader so i cant really say if any others are better
I just bought a RB C12 motor from amain, its from an italian company, 1 of the best RC motor manufacturers in the industry for 109USD at amain on special, its back up to 250USD now but its supposed to be 1 great motor so il find out when i get it tomorrow in the post

ive tried several pipes for my 18cvr motors and always go back to the drake pipe. the ringed pipe was good but i think the drake pipe has great top end and sounds better too. i dont think there is a pipe on the market that can kill the low end on the os 18 cvr.
probably would still wheelie with a corn cob pipe.
