I cant get parts for my rc10gt cuz the lady at tower hobby said that there are many kinds of rc10gt's. I crashed and broke shock cap on top of the shock. I ordered some caps for the 18T and they were to small for mine. I dont know what kind of rc10gt it is cuz it was found at a home we just moved to. I need parts but cant get them cuz i dont know specifics about what rc10gt it is. here are a couple pics. I need shock caps. any ideas would help. thanks everyone.

There is only one RC10GT.
The 18t is a different truck altogether.
Go the the Associated web site. You can download the manual and an exploded view. That way you can call up wherever you want and have part numbers. I bet you will have much more success getting what you want if you know what it is that you want.

if the local hobby shop is an hour away then make yourself a list of parts/fuel that you need and parts you think youll break, then go out and do it all in one trip

I would buy the whole shock if it would let me, although i just need a cap. And i cant find it on the team associated site either. Guess i will try ebay even tho i hate that cuz you never know who you buy from.

ebay is one of the best sites to buy from, if they have good feedback then he/she is a good seller bottem line, but i would do what the other 2 guys said make a list and drive out there alot of people drive far distances to there local hobbby shops. but if you like this hobby look in to a traxxas or team losi, u can find parts ANYWHERE with out leaving ur computer, good luck

Is this what i am looking for? Seems like a good price. It says its for an rc10gt but then it also says AG28 and GT2 so that confuses me. Im easily confused, lol. But if you guys think that looks ok im ordering!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ASSOCIATED-G...QQcmdZViewItem

On the AE site, it is under the support tab. It looks like the GT and GT2 share shocks, so those would work fine.
Is this the part that you are looking for? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LX2582&P=OW

Most places will ship items to your house. My nearest hobby shop is an hour away, and all it takes is a phone call, and if it's in stock, it's in the mail. It maybe cost a bit more...but I'm known by more than a 16 digit sequence. To me it well worth it when I can announce myself on the phone as avg_joe, and that's good enough.
It's nice to get personal attention from somebody who knows what/how/where you drive, and has experience to offer advice to their customers. You can only do that by cultivating a personal relationship with a real live person...not 'the lady at tower'.
