Old carpet racer, just baught the Volcano for an experiment. What should i plan on doing first with this? I have read issues about the clutch, should i be buying the replacement at the same time? Any other issues that i should be aware of please let me know. Also has anyone ever actually raced this truck against other trucks and how did you do? In general i'm relatively upset about the race track going down after spending ungodly amounts of money for something i can't use now.
So i'm hoping the truck can re-spark an old hobby (habit or addiction) Any and all input would be nice. No my Volcano does not rock, but hopefully it will. It has yet to get here, just bought it, and had to come up with a handle here.

Sure its a great RC but this is the place for Stadium trucks and you would be better off going to the Redcat support forums under the Volcano listing. The only racing you can do with that is local track racing, there is no racing class for it as of yet[&o]

Hi, I'm usually in the Traxxas m.t. forum. I bought a Vulcano SV a year and half ago, it's a great basher. It can take a beaten. You need to get some lock tight for the metal to metal screws. The spring on the alum. clutch broke about 5 or 6 times. get composit shoes and it sovles the prob. After year of good running with the engine tuned right. The engine is losing compression. (.18).Hope this helps.
