Identify this truck!!
I got this truck for $10..
All I need is a Muffler, Filter, some clips, a tube, and there's something wrong with the carb...not sure yet.
But I have NO IDEA what this truck is.
Any ideas?

It's great shape, decently clean too. I cleaned it more. I'm taking it to the hobby shop and let them take a look at it and buy everything I need...and hopefully the motor won't be busted.

It is a Duratrax Maximum mt. I used to have one a while back. It has a torque .16 engine. Pretty tough truck. You can get lots of hop ups and even a 2 speed conversion which it looks like it already has.

MORE PICTURES!
I think some of you guys are getting it. The engine has TORQ on it, but it does have duratrax servos. So, it's kinda random.
It's 2 speed? How would I control that with a standard controller? Is it automatic?

Its a Duratrax maximum mt for sure without a doubt just like I said in earlier post. The torq .16 is what it cam with. Thay had very restrictive exhausts on them when they first came out and were pretty gutless untill you changed the manifold and pipe. Then they came to life. Not a bad truck. Just not as good as all teh trucks out now.

Does it have compression. What makes you think carb is messed up? You can drop in another engine pretty cheap if needed. Have you tried to start it?

Not yet, it's missing a couple of tubes, a pipe and a pull start. Getting everything tomorrow.
BUT, when I turn on the electricity on the car and my controller, the turning is awesome, but the throttle is iffy, it moves well, but the carb doesn't open or close.\
You guys want video?

Yes if you can. If you undo the linkage to the carb can you manually open and close it. It may just be gunked up from old fuel. The oil will turn to gel after a while and make everything stiff. You may just want to take th engine out, take it apart and clean everything real well.

You're right, it's very stiff and gross. Gotta clean it reaaal good. Imma do everything tomorrow. The place I go to should do most for me.
-Clean engine
-Install missing pieces (Filter, Tubes, Cover, Pipe, Pull Start)
-Tune
And it should be ready to go Friday. =D
