Default HELP!! Nitro Rusty Engine Revs really high but car doesn't move

I was driving my Nitro Rusty today and all of a sudden when i went to give some gas the engine screams really high but the car doesn't move...i shut it down and let it sit for about 15 min....started it right back up and everything was fine but as soon as i gave it some gas it did the same thing...any ideas...anyone

First off check your spur and slipperand if they arent spinning/stripped check the clutch.I've melted so many spurs on my S-Maxx that I bought a Robinson Racing steel spurand havent had a prob with anything in drive train in a cpl years.

its your clutch. it happen 2 one of my 1/10th scale trucks.

Mine did the same thing when on of the dog bones came out,you may want to check it.It could also be possible that your spur gear stripped.

Same thing happened to mine you might need to change the sun and planet gears in your gear box but thats what happened to mine when i got it and it was a easy fix.

yea it definatley was the spur gear getting worn down...but i went and bought another one...changed it ...started the car up and 2 minutes into the run the same thing happened...the spur gear is worn down...is there someting i can change to fix this or should i just get a heavy duty gear...

is there a big difference performance wise between a 70 and 72 tooth spur gear??
