Would a .25 engine fit on a Maximum ST pro chassis?
It currently has a .16 Torq engine, and I was wondering if it would fit
Just ask if you want pictures.
The .25 engine is HPI btw.

With a little fabricating it should work. My buddie was able to put a BB on his. You will have to extend the motor mount slots a bit on the chassi so the motor can sit further back. The down side is you will most likely have to remove the metal brace that goes from the trans to the frame to fit it. That's what my buddie had to do because the carb got in the way of it. And with out that metal brace, it will have really bad chassi flex so you may want to design a new peice that will let the motor fit but still ancor the chassi to the trans. Good luck.

If you just have to have a big block I would start with some thing other then the HPI 25 as it is a weak engine comparison to other big block. I would recommend an OS 18 TZ, which is a small block and should just about drop in and more then likely have more power then the HPI 25.
