Depends if you want a 2wd drive or 4wd car.
Firestorm is alot of fun when learning to drift with 2wd tho
Never had a MT2 though so i cnt realy comment.
ps, get the Firestorm!

well, after looking at both trucks, i bought the mt2 from tower. had a $30 coupon, so it was $299, free shipping. the firestorm was $252, then id have to buy the rotostart back plate for like another $18. with those 2 added, it came to less than $300, so i had a coupon for $20 off. i figure for like $50 bucks more, i get the mt2, 4wd, and complete rotostart set up. (already have 2 rotostarts). and hpi claims the mt2 g 3.0 does like 45 mph. so, thats what i bought to add to the fleet.

As long as you stay with hpi,you will have fun bashing w/o breaking parts.HPI all the time!!
PS:The firestorm can make a very trusty side kick.LOL!Maybe you should add it to your fleet sometime.
