I picked the xxx-nt sport II. It's fast, 45MPH, and has the Losi Spin Start so you won't need a pull start. And it comesw with a keeper radio for $50 more than the GT2. The GT2's radio is a no name Jagugar.

I voted other:Firestorm! The reason I voted for the Firestorm is because I have one and I can trust it.It takes a lot of abuse, even when it lands upside down at 12ft.or do a cartwheel at 40 mph.My cousin has had his firestorm for 7months now and has not yet broken anything!I have had mine for 5months and have only spent 10$ in replacment parts! It sure beats paying over a hundred dollars in repairs for a s-maxx.[:'(]
The firestorm is also the only stadium truck I know of to have a .18 engine.

but the evader is good as well, upto you, depends if you can get the spare parts for each truck that you want.

yea i think that it is a toss up between the nitro evader or the firestorm. my friend has a rc10gt2 and it is fast but it already broke. but he had it for a month now. i like the nitro evader and the firestorm because they are both 250 in my case that is pretty cheap. but now i need to call up the LHS and see if they have some parts for both cars.

I havent voted cos I have only run the Firestorm so cant compare them.
It was my first RC and Im well pleased with it. Havent managed to break anything on it yet (even after some pretty spectacular crashes and rolls). Its easy to work on, its been an ideal first RC for me.
Encouraged me onto my first build (Hyper St Pro)

i just post videos on youtube and show a link.
and i have a hpi micro rs4 that i got for 100 bucks. half price at my hobby shop. i gave them trouble about it because it was different on the site and they gave it to me. but i dont have an HPI truck. i will probably get the firestorm. it looks fast and tough. all i have to do is be able to out run a rc10gt2 and be tougher. lol Robbie if you are reading this, BRING IT. lol j/k i love driving ur truck.

2 trucks are race breed, 5 trucks are bashers. One is not designed to compete with the other. Racing- GT2 or XXXNT/AD2 both very close. Basher- buy what your LHS stocks parts for. Try and decide bash or race you will spend $$ more wisely.
Race vehichles can bash but more fragile. Bashers can race but built in flex( to reduce breakage) make them not race friendly.
And if its only about speed find a second hand AE FTGT go to New era on line and get .21 conversion or buy Shumaker gas truck comes with .21
