I don't think the Nitro MT has a slipper clutch. Its just a one pice gear with a brake.

Unless you are talking about something else?

Wow I guess I should have looked at the MT2 Exploded view BEFORE I typed that. I would think as long as the distance between the bearings on the gear where the same as the MT it would fit right in to the center bulkhead. The link above is for the mt the one I post now is for the mt 2 ss. If you want to look for yourself

The original MT RTR did not have a slipper but the kit and racer did. I have the MT2 slipper in my MT 1 ¾ whish started life as a MT 1 Race kit. About the only thing that is still MT1 on mine is the radio box, chassis and upper deck.

The MT 2 slipper is MUCH better then the MT 1 slipper and you use Savage spurs so you have more gearing options.

The MT2 slipper kit is a direct bolt-on for the older MT's. I just did this to my MT racer.

Nothing to it in my opinion but a lot has to do with a person skills and experience.
