hi, my jato is haveing trouble starting, i unclogged the carb and it started once,and now when i try to start it all i hear
is the spinning sound of the ez start motor, almost like theres no compression....and it also has troublt idleing, when it does start
i think its the motor which i need a new piston and sleeve, but also my local hobby shop told me to check the muffler, because air comesout but it doesnt make a "puffing noise" like it should.I already tried new fuel lines,and glow plug, niether worked
What now??? =/

First guess would be rebuild.
How many gallons of fuel have been through it?
What kind of temp does it run at?

Traxxas exchange program is to inexpensive to overhaul one.....................go to your LHS or deal with Traxxas on line[:-]

thats to expensive. You can get a new 3.3 on ebay for low 100's. Then you can sell the old motor for parts and get a couple dollars for it.

If the easy start is turning and the motor isn't check the one way bearing in the easy start. I've had them go bad with no warning and it's a cheap as fix.

dump fuel directly into the carb to get it running.....
