I would go down to your LHS and see what parts they carry the most of. If you are thinking of doing a little racing i would go with either the losi or the GT2.

we dont have a lhs but yea i was leaning towards the gt2 because i have heard good about it and its the cheapest but im still thinkin about the smaxx because i think it would be able to jump like 3ft off the ground.

If you go with the GT2 I would upgrade right to the RPM A-Arms. I busted one right of the bat but the car is very tunable once you go racing. Also get a starter box. The pull start gave me a lot of problems and also the one way bearing causes a lot of friction on the pilot shaft causing slower RPM's (or make sure you oil it GOOD!). This happened to my friend and I. Now my car is completely rebuilt with a new power plant. Ready to rip!

If you are thinking about racing ever, that is enough to justify purchasing a GT2 or XXX-NT. Check what classes your local track has. Any car can jump 3 feet high if you have the right ramp. Heck I've seen touring cars jump way higher.

You should get the hpi firestorm or if you want a 4 wheel then the mt2 is a good choice.

the xxx-nt is a real good racer, and a good basher for me. The RTR II is a great truck

Well If your going racing at a track then there will be rules, and 4wd is not allowed at most st classes. But if your going racing then a xxx-nt and rc10gt are the only way to go, and if your oging fo rthose two trucks I would go Losi. There's a reason Associated copied the XXX-NT2 and used it for there GT2 design. The NT must be a good truck then

If you're racing don't even think about a smaxx or MT2. I have a feeling this thread may turn into a AE vs losi thread so before that happens I'm going to say this, both trucks are great, you can't go wrong with either of them, I've took several hard hits in both my GT2 and xxx-t rtr II and they've held up.
