Well Im really new to nitros, and I already bought 2 nitros. One is a HPI Nitro sport, the other is a xxx-nt. I was just wondering, how do you start them. From what I understand, I need to prime the engine first. I did it by putting my finger over the exhaust and pulled it till the nitro reached the carb. Then I gave it an extra pull. Then I put the ignitor in and tried to start it. I was able to start it up once for a little bit, but the engine died instantly. Also I checked the glowplug already and tried replacing it. Any ideas whats Im doing wrong? Also how do I know if my glow ignitor is good or bad? Any help would be great thanks,

You are starting it correctly. Try to give it a little gas when you start it and make sure they are not flooded.

Nevermind, I spent an hour tweaking it, and got it to run fine now. I just had to adjust the screws on the engine, now it runs like a charm. Thanks anyways.

The Nitro Sport is not made by HPI.Traxxas makes them.
