I was wondering if any of you guys have upgraded the HPI firestorm10T from the .18 G3.0 to a .21 engine. thanks

i test fittted the trx 3.3, and it fits just fine, or you could try the os 18 tz without needing a conversion kit

yea thats the way to go i think. the tz is a great motor with lotsa power. it should keep up to a 3.3

I'm consideing going with the TZ for my firestorm. will the factory motor mounts work with that motor? But I'm not sure which 18 TZ I'm suposed to get they have several different crankshafts to choose from any help?

The thing is that you need a engine with a pilot shaft AND a rotary carb. The TZ engines have either one or the other.[] But maybe you can get the one with a rotary carb and then switch the shaft into a pilot shaft.
