You should use 20% Nitro with 8% oil.

I have had my carb get pluged up on a few rare occations. Here is what I do, get a larger fuel line that will connect to your fuel bottle and with fuel in the bottle connect the bottle to your carb and just squeeze the fuel throw the carb. I have a inline fuel filter so its every easy for me to just disconnect the line at the filter and connect my fuel hose to it. My fuel hose is connected right to my bottle at all times with two zip ties and I just put the small rubber cap on the end of the line when I am done, this way if I ever get that clog or need to prime its very quick and easy to do.

hey guys thanks for the advice, as for changing fuel % etc i bought a case at 16$ a gallon and will have to make this fuel work. i have not had any problems with my tc31 carb doing this or my bj26 boats. as for the fuel filter i will try one soon but i keep a clean truck and dont run in mud so i no its not contamination . and the self primer, great idea will definatly work better than a mouth full of fuel, hopefully i dont go blind. anyhow the carb still has junk in it because my hsn is 4.5 turns out, and i no its cold and they tend to run richer for better results. what do you guys think, and will carb cleaner remove exess gel or oil. A lot of my friends say that this is not common problem, but it has been a problem ever since i broke it in during the cold winter months,I allways try to empty tanks completely so that i would not have this problem it worked well with the boats Thanks again for the helpful ideas .

I would be careful using anything like carb cleaner...It's got some pretty nasty chemicals in it that could eat away seals.
Denatured alcohol breaks up fuel goo pretty readily, as does WD-40.
