Default 3.3 & 2.5

Does anyone know if a 2.5 sleeve will fit in a 3.3 engine

the bore is determained by the inside diameter of the sleeve. But the outside diameter is the part that will decide whether or not it fits into the crank case. My theory is that a 2.5 crank w/ a 3.3 sleeve and piston will give me more top end horsepower (created by bigger bore) without uncontrolable low end torque ( created by longer stroke of 3.3 crank). This would mean a very drivable rusty w/ blistering top end speeds.

well the externals are the same except for the cooling head its just the internals are different also if you look at the traxxas revo review on the traxxas message boards the sleeves look to be a different size.

It cant be because the crank case has a diffferent hole for the sleves. They are completely different motors. It might work tho if you can machine it out.
