Default Firestorm tuning problems

Just got my firestorm about a week ago and have been going through the tuning precedures just like it says in the book. But I have noticed whenever I slow down rapidly or slow down at all for that matter, the engine will cut off. The engine will run when no throttle or break is applied and seems to be running good, but as soon as i slow down enough to turn or stop the engine will cut off. I do not even know where to start due to the fact that this is my first one.

Thanks guys

I read through the manual and it said that it does not recommend doing this. I'll give it a shot though.

Also, I'm noticing that mine is not getting the inital burst of speed of others that i'm seeing in some videos online.

could these be factors that need to be worked out in the tuneing process?

Yes.You should also try turning the idle screw(On the truck) clockwise for about a full turn.
