racing engine for gt2
#2
Guess you haven't raced much in the 2WD class. All the engines you listed are plenty of power more likely too much, and technically you can't used a 5-port engine or any turbo headed motors. I'd say find an OS .12 CV-R: plenty of power, reliable, and more controllable.

ya, I would go with the CV-R if you can find one. But I would look at the OS .12 CV. If you replace the head you'll be fine. It is not to much powver and has a solid power band

CV-R FTW!!!!
Funny story...
I bought a .12TR for my AD2 because I figured "this is the new hotness...the CV-R will probably be discontinued soon"

Out of all the answers you have most likely none of them run in sponsered or sanctioned events. Read up on the rules and buy accordingly if racing is what you want to do. The limitations from the rules makes the choice of engines very simple if all you want is power on which end of the spectrum [:-]
