Is it ok to use crawler bead lock wheels on a nitro(HPI Firestorm specifically)? Will it hold?
I think its faster to mount tires on bead locks and you can always use the same wheels on new set of rubbers..

Associated yous-too make wheel like that for the RC10GT Nitro cars back in the day's tough I don't think there be a problem

bead lock is the way to go you can still get them on-line just about everywhere the reason they are not as comon as they were is the wieght they are just two heavy to race anymore but they hold very very well. i would say it is just easier to buy new tires and balance those then it is to deal with bead lock and try and get those right. bead lock is a great bashing tire.

I think if you use the plastic beadlocks weight will not be an issue..

Does someone make them in a standard size 2.2 st wheel? So far, all I've found as far as 2.2 beadlocks are the narrow crawler wheels.
