i have a traxxas nitro sport and it is all stock with the trx .15 and i cant even do wheelies with that engine and i just want something a little faster(faster than 40mph)so do you know of any replacements. i know about the engine replacement plan from traxxas but i was thinking about somthing else.

Why you thinking of something else? the 2.5R exchange is one of the best out there unless you just want to throw money at your car

I would get a 2.5R best motor traxxas makes IMO.Your not gonna find anything better for the hundred or so it would cost you with the exchange.I just installed a Orion Wasp 18 in my rc10 gt and it rips really well but was a little pricey.On a side note going with the 2.5R or any other 18 might cause tranny issues from the added torque so be prepared.

Is the 2.5 or 2.5r a direct swap?
