Is there any way to reduce the noise from a nitro engine?
It would be nice to drive in the alley way but the neighbors get pissed with the noise.
Something removable so I can let it rip when at the right bash spot.

tell your neighbors to get bent, nitro stuff is no louder than lawn mowers, compressors, air tools, jack hammers or anything else that is normally heard from day to day they need to smoke some herb or something.

Some pipes are quiet-er than others...HPI had a pretty quiet pipe for the RS4.
Otherwise one of those exhaust deflectors can help dull the noise a little bit.
And, as long as you aren't doing speed runs at 2AM right under the bedroom window, they can't do a thing about it.
I would try to be a good neighbor, if at all possible...But some people are happiest when they have something to complain about. If that is the case, then the least you could do is give them that.

when ur pipes broke (or has holes in it) it runs lean so it runes hot so just plug the holes

Your not getting enough backpressure causing the motor to run lean

Just point it at the ground.
I was thinking about putting a small rubber stinger on it for the hell of it to make it quieter. See how it runs and if it takes away any motor im gonna just take it off. If it ran silent the better, then I could run any time of the day!
