Default nitro prices

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW...

topfuel was $27 yesterday for a gallon

today it was $47

i asked why and the owner of the shop claimed that most fuel is brewed in china... and now that half of china is torn apart from earthquakes. thats what its going to be for the next few months!

so.... im glad i got a gallon of fuel last weekend (and no i dont run topfuel, that was jsut the biggest jump i saw)

there was a guy buying some 50% for his boat while i was in there.... $79 for a gallon!

They are shutting the nitro plant down in China due to polution until the olympics is over. Sounds dumb but that's the problem. there will be more fuel at cheaper prices in a couple of months.

With all the rising gas prices and this china shut the plants down for the clean air stuff, its getting me thinking of just switching over to electric. Always been a hardcore nitro powered fan, but electric is starting to look better and better with each day.

So far my plan is to have a electric before I finish off my last 10 gallons of fuel I got left for this summer. Probably last me through winter too heh.

ya i noticed it slowly climbing but this HUGE spike really supprised me... im guessing its cuz i was at a main-stream hobby shop (hobby town)... im going to head downtown to a little mom/pop shop to see what they have for prices... im guessing they're prices will be lower untill they have to re-stock...

Odonnels smells funny to me, I think they put somthing in it to make it smell funny, a sweet kinda smell. It also smells kinda odd when burned, reminds me of a gun oil smell. I wonder what and why they put in it.

I have been using Werks and like it better, same nitro content and seems a little faster...

I tell ya what, I will buy from my lhs and deliver it to you for that much! LOL Not really but man that is high! I was just at mine and paid only 9.50 for A qt of o.d 25% and $23.50 for A gallon of the same. It's cheap here. But They told me that they were going to stop selling the 33% because it was getting to be unavaliable. I also have A hobby town by me and the price is only A little higher there.
