RE: Official RC10GT Thread
yes it does. i called one of my friends at hobbypeople and he said to try to use your 2.5's setup on your OS. the shaft should be the same length for your os and 2.5 but you never know. your 2.5 isnt a SG shaft right. its threaded. like that os you want. count how many threads are on your 2.5 shaft and i will go look at my engines. i got the ae.15 os.15 os.12 picco.12 picco.15 wasp.18 and the SH.12 in muh truck.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
you suck! you should get the new GT when it comes out if it does.. the "out dated" GT's are still winning like crazy.
My gt has been great. i got panther step pins out back and i did a front end widening on it. it handles sweet. and the truck just goes goes goes.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
I just bougt an used one and I am almost done putting it back together. It is SSSOOO EASY to work on, I am glad I took it apart before I ran it, who ever owned it before me did not know what he was doing. The truck looks like it was not used much but there was some many things put back together wrong; just an example the slipper clutch was put back in backwards?????????? and the brake disk was missing the Brake Hub so there was no brakes.
I have and had many Team Associated cars and trucks over the years and a lot of the spare parts I have for them work on this truck. I have everything I needed to change in my parts bin. I think I am going to LOVE this truck when it is done. I swapped out the rear arms for the RPM arms rebuilt the gearbox and replaces every bushing with rubber sealed ball bearings. The gears in the gear box look brand new and nothing was worn from the bushing yet, this is what makes me think this truck was not used much.
I took out the O.S. .18CV-r it came with and replaced it with a Picco .15 I had, I did this because I know how crazy the OS .18 is and I think it will be too much for this truck[sm=punching.gif]. Plus I needed an engine in my HPI MT onroad project and the OS engine is the perfect engine for it[sm=lol.gif]. The Picco engine is almost new and has a Round side exhaust which is impossible to find a header for. But it works perfectly in the RC10GT with an HPI Rear Round exhaust header for the RS4 MT.
I will post what I think of the truck when I take it for a beat down. I already know that I am going to love this truck. It is such a great design and experience tells me it will be one durable truck.

I was thinking of the dynamite quiet pipe, but I was wondering what it would sound like. Neighbors chase down my GT with pitchforks and torches, but all want to try when I pull out my electric pede.

RE: Official RC10GT Thread
i usually tune engines to 205/210 and that lets it get to a max of 220/230deg.. some people tune theres to 220 with out even properly warming them up and your engine will be hotter when it runs out of gas.
so say if you tuned your engine to 220 on the "pavement" where your car doesn't have as much tire spin like it does in the dirt, with all that tire spin your engine revs more and that mean more heat. so after all this tuning then you hit the dirt and when your tank gets almost empty your engine hits 270+ or more, from improper tuning. so try to tune your engine where you are going to drive it the most. keep temping it. you final temp meaning the highest temp should be 220/235. when your running out of gas.. if you run around at 235, so when you car runs out of gas it leans out from lack of pressure right? the temp rises. and could lead to burning out your engine. so focuse of your final temp. if you want.

Are you running the same Picco engine in your truck??
If so how is this engine for the RC10GT, is a good match up?
If and when you find the pictures post them, I would like to check it out.
Also I am hoping someone could help me here. I am replacing the dog bone setup with MIP Shiny CVD's but they don't seem to be long enough. Has anyone else had this problem?
I replaced the original rear arms and the arm mounts with the RPM arms and 0% Team Associated mounts, I don't se this as being a problem because the same setup is in my old RC10 T2 and there in no problems, but for some reason on this truck the CVD's are too short[sm=confused.gif]
I can use a set of RC10 B3 hubs but that will make the stance of the truck more narrow, which I don't want to do.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
