Default MT2 needs motor... Nitro Vs. Brushless

i just got a MT2 used. it came with a hpi .15 and i want more power. I need opinions on whether to go with a mamba max or a stronger nitro?(O.S. .18 i hear is good). I want the simplicity and cost effectiveness of BL electric, but i am not sure if the stock drivetrain will handle a 4600kv mamba max. the other option is a good nitro motor O.S. or something that is strong enough but wont tear up my drivetrain.(18-21) but with that i am always tuning and buying fuel.
I am not super experienced at this kind of stuff and have never done a conversion. So, is the BL conversion worth the fab-work or should i just stick with nitro?
any opinions are aappreciated!!!

I would put the OS 18 CVR in it and be finished, $110 at tower hobbies. Easy to tune and holds a tune well. This motor dishes out more than enough power for this truck

thanks for the opinions. i saw the youtube videos of brushless mamba mt2 ...ant that is way too much speed for me.
