my Rusty to Corr truck cont...
Hey guys, Here’s an update on my Rusty to CORR conv. It’s gone well.
( after CAing my hair back on my head).lol My Rusty is now part Revo and Tmaxx part corr racer. I used the revo front body mount to help me get the right angle on the mount for the front. Then the revo alum. Skids for the bumper mounts (front & rear). The front looks like it could use a bit more support, but I’ts realy strong the way it is. This project taking shape nicely. Now I just need to lay down some color on my body. I have it trimed up and my design is laid out. Give me your honest opinion guy of what u think so fare.

Hey Looks good! If it were me id get some used (cheap) slash tires, they would tuck in the body and let you lower the body down some. Have you run it w/ those front arms flipped? Any noticeable changes in the way it drives? That bumper mount is great, if it bends up a little you can always bend it back! Doubt the Rusty is heavy enuf to effect it. I am looking at doing a CORR thing to a Muggy I have, So its cool to see others Ideas. what colors are u painting it?

It looks good and I give you credit for originality. The only thing I see kinda off are the front wheels. They are too far back. Any way to bring them forward? My front wheels on my CORR conversion where a bit off so I brought them back a little. Did a little tweaking and cutting, and I am digging it.
Keep us updated. I want to see the finished product.

Thanks for all your input guys. I'll try to answer all your question in one post. 1st. the suspention is as wide as it gets, I just have to trim the body up behind the front wheels. thanks for checking. 2nd. I used my proline dirt works and some new rpm rims. I've looked in to the slash rims & tires but the front rims don't use bearing like
the rusty does. But I think w/some mods they might work. They where my first choice. The body will be white w/ a red & black design. Trimed in some chrome.
" Got to have the bling." I'm also doing carbon fiber on the hood. I saw it on youtube, so I did a test piece, one word...... AWESOME. Thanks guys

I just think the slash tires would have a more scale look, but didnt realize fronts dont have bearings. I like the bodies with that low slung look. Those paint colors sound cool, I really like th SC8 Bullydog scheme has the same colors. Carbon fiber treatment? I will be looking into YouTube for that- Sounds Cool- Keep us updated!
