How do these wheel adaptors work, and what is their purpose? Does it let you run a wheel with a hex drive in it all the way around?

I just got a nitro stampede, and id love to run my extra tires and rims that came off my electric stampede on it, but they are hex drive all around and no place to put a bearing in the front wheel. Does this kit make it where i can run them, or is it for something else?
