Default advantages and disadvantes of changing shift points

whats the advantages of making a higher shift point in a jato 3.3?? lower?? will it accelerate faster if it shifts a little later?

It does help with slightly quicker acceleration bcuz your hitting second gear at a higher RPM but at the sme time if you have it shift too late you might hit a dead spot where the car is not accelerating any more until it goes into second. I personally think my Jatos shifts just fine and I have never messed with the shift point.

cool. i just seen a bunch of vids on youtube of jato's and some sound like they shift at later rpms
