Engine opinions suggestions FIRESTORM,
as is right now i have a firestorm with savage s.25 engine and 21t cb im looking to go faster but at the same time handle better i mostly use the truck for bashing and occasionaly throw it in the near by dirt track im confused as wether to get a high rev.21 highrev .12 or an 18tz
one major problem i have now is traction im tearing up tires left and right and was happy with speed until my friend with a jammin .28 truggy beat me any help or ideas is appreciated

Well, first you gotta know that fr you to drop another engine you need a BB conversion...and to be a 4wd truggy it's gonna take alot. I'm guessing the 21 should do well.

i already have the BB conversion kit with a savage ss.25 engine , i think im just gonna put on my RB v12 Rody 3port

the rody is an on-road engine.... bad idea IMHO.
the picco 28 is really fast and if you get it modded it can go faster than any rb. it comes close to a os 28 truggy race black head. a modded picco goes so fast it makes savage transmissions explode but i wouldnt worry with a firestorm as its only 1 speed.
i have a mach 427 in my savage and it runs well.
if you dont want to go with modding then i would get one of the OS truggy race engines.

now im undecided as to sell my firestorm and build a truggy or keep going with my current project yea i agree the rody 12 is probly a bad idea i think once you go big block you never go back lol
