I can't recall which parts are interchangeable right off hand, but I know some of them are. It seems about 25-50% of the parts are transferable from the tub chassis to the GT2.

Barber thanks for your reply, This is a big glck RC10gt that is in the tub chassis. I do like the ones with the pan chassis though they might not be as good as RC10gt2 the original ones in the pan chassis is very easy to work on

I have owned bothe the Tub Chassis and the Pan Chassis. All parts are interchangable except for the motor mounts on some of them. I am currently rebuilding an ols Tub Chassis as well and the only issue I think I may have is with the motor mount.

The tub chassis came out before the flat chassis. The flat chassis started with the RC10GT+. A BB in an RC10GT!!!!! That thing must not even be drivable. We are talking about AEGT's and not the other brand(having a brain fart)right?

I had a BB RC10GT before and it is drivable somewhat but it was a lot of fun. I do regret selling it

My first RC10GT was a Black Tub Chassis which was run over by a Ford Explorer. I then went Nad got the Factory Team GT with the Flat Chassis. I used every part possible from the Black Tub Chassis on the Factory Team one that I bought and ended up with a bunch of spare parts. I sold that GT and now have a rare Blue Tub Chassis that I am rebuilding. The only thing I am not sure about is the motor mount.

I think the motor mounts are the same from the tub chassis to the pan chassis.

The motor mounts from the tub chassis to the pan chassis are completely different...........

The pan chassis motor mount is all one piece and is separate from the tranny mount

The tub chassis has four parts to it, the right bottom mount which is also part of the tranny mount, the left bottom engine mount, then two top mounts....... I will take pictures of both next chance I have since I have both.........
