Hey all,

I just finished break-in on the GT2. Unfortunately, my tires are extremely bald. I'm looking 3 sets of tires..

1 . Offroad bashing tires for medium high grass, sometimes a bit of dirt, and more often that not.. gravel. I'd like to get longer wear out of these

2. On road tires mainly for groomed pavement but might still have rocks (so no foamies)

3. Offroad racing on packed dirt

Sorry if I'm a bit vague, this is my first ST in a long time..

Not sure if all of them will fit but i know the bow ties are the best tires ive ever ran.

1. something really knobby with a hard compound.

2. any 2.2 truck street specific tire.

3. whatever everyone at your track is using.

there is no such thing as a "best tire" you just have to try some out and see what you like best. save those bald tires though they will make good break in tires. im actually in the middle of breaking in a new piston/sleeve on my gt2, just waiting for it to cool down a bit.

1- Proline Moab tires or Proline speed paw's are nice also

2- Proline Road rage or proline speed hawg( i preffer speed hawg )

3- i race my rustler, in the rear i run team losi ( not sure exactly what ones but they re bo-tie and work amazing!)in the front i run panther micro ribbed

Just make sure you have rims and tires that match.....
2.2 rims for 2.2 tires
2.8 rims for 2.8 tires

Thanks a lot guys. I'm not looking for a best tire, just a ballpark and I'll be sure to try out these suggestions. After all, rubber for this little guy is a heck of a lot cheaper than my car lol..
