Default 4wd stadium truck

Yo whats up guys i was wonderin if they made a 4wd nitro stadium truck and if so would it do better on the track than the popular 2wd trucks. I have a rustler right now but i have heard that it is not the best for the track, so hit me up with anything you guys know and thanks in advance.

I think the HPI MT2 is considered to be a ST. it is not a truggy since it doesn't have a center differential. and it sits kind of low to be considered a monster truck. they are pretty descent trucks I had one for a while and it was nice and it was pretty quick too. but I had it upgraded qiute a bit.

Stadium trucks, are well, look at the XXX-T or NT, the T4 or GT2, the Rustler, those are stadium trucks. A buggy+ monster truck= truggy. Truggies are almost always 1/8 and 4wd and handle very well on a track. STs are generally 2wd.

Truggies are awesome! but as far as a 4wd ST, there is also the Traxxas slayer, or better yet the Associated SC8. those are just a couple of others besides truggies, Muggies, etc... and I am not trying to argue but isnt a truggy moe of a combo of the ST and Buggy, whereas a Muggy is a MT and a buggy cross...

that was my take on those... but I could be mistaken, but having a Losi 8ight-T 2.0, it looks to me like a supersized ST moreso than any MT

Whatever the case if u want to have seriously competitive vehicle at the track with 4wd, truggies are the way to go and fast becoming the wave of the future with RC racing...

The Slayer and SC8 are CORR trucks, not stadium trucks. The thing is, there is no 4wd ST so you really can't compare. A truggy is a combination of a MT and buggy because the car is based off the buggy, but it has monster truck tires and more ground clearance like a MT. Oh ya, Dont buy the Muggy. Losi just threw that car out and it is the biggest POS ever.

Who cares? They will beat any ST besides a jato in a street race, and beat EVERY ST on a dirt track. Even though their top speed is not as high, it will be alot faster than ST's.

The only cars that a truggy cannot beat is a Nitro rustler and Jato on road. Off road a Truggy will own anything!!!! I love truggies, i converted my e-revo into one but still doesn't have a feel of my losi 2.0 t

There are 2 4wd ST's that I know about. One is the HPI MT2. Don't know how fast it is though. And the other is a CEN RACING PREMEIR 4 they claim 45mph out the box.

Ya I hear that, I have one ST left and am selling it also... Made the switch to 1/8 about 5 months back and haven't regret it one bit. I still have some 1/10 like my TC3, My Slayer, and My Axial comp rig, but that is all I plan on keeping... 1/10 racing is not as hot as 1/8.... hell out ewhere I am the only off road track that has events only races 1/8 electric bugs and trugs cause of noise ordinances. plus the track is pretty small with alot of tight/technical turns. only other place has a big dirt oval, and requires a membership, that I'll need to sell another RC or 2 to get.

but as far as 4WD and fast truggies are where it is at!

I got the rtr I was to lazy to get a roller so just bought the rtr and switched out the electronics. The start box is ok but it does it job. It has the mach 454 in it and the engine pinch is so tight that if you would have a pull start your probably going to break an arm.

OH sooooo true! I did the same thing, actually the RTR is an awesome deal what with everything it comes with also... My Mach 454 was bunk tho... had to send it back only half a tank into my break-in process due to a bad seal on the LSN.

to the thread starter, you may wanna browse some other areas of the RCU, like the RC Truggy forum, or the 1/8th Scal Buggies forum, sounds to me these areas would be more up your alley, and this is getting wayy off the topic of Stadium trucks, LOL!!!
