Default how do i dye my dish rims?

i have a ton of dyeable rims comming in the mail i won off ebay, i dont want to keep them white tho. i want yellow but i have not a clue on how to dye them. please help. maby a how to link, i cant find anything on the web. detailed instructions would be great also maby some pics?

fill an old pot with water and heat it up to a hot simmer. stir in the dye. then dunk the wheels. it helps to use some fishing line to dunk em with. the longer you leave em in the darker the color will be. stay away from rit golden yellow, your wheels will come out an orangeish color.
