Unburned fuel
I was wondering if my glowplug is the problem if there is alot of unburned fuel in the muffler and when i pull the trigger the car cuts out and i know its not the tuning or the carb. Its a nitro rustler 2.5

RE: Unburned fuel
ummm, you could try changing it, but I doubt it will get rid of the issue, there will always be lust a little bit of unburned stuff in there, but if you are able to actually dump it out... you are running rich oh the HSN... try leaning it out some...

RE: Unburned fuel
It was the glow plug! A little of the filament wasn't working so the combustion distance was greater so it wouldn't burn fuel and excess oil. I was able to dup oil out of my pipe but now i can run my car on the street

RE: Unburned fuel
here is a good tip to check your glow plug ... pull it from the motor and connect it to the glow igniter and if it glows blow on the filament and see if it goes out or dimms sown .. if it does replace it!!
