Default troubleshoot with traxxas 3.3 engine

my engine keeps on dying when its on neutral or when i press on the brakes...what should i do..any suggestion or help? thanks..!

i had the same problem with my firestorm and i basically just adjusted the lsn about 1/4 turn in and same with the idle screw. try that and see what happens maybe. the truck will die in neutral after about 10-15s, because with 2 stroke engines, the bottom ends just fill up with fuel and die. this is normal, but it should be able to idle for about 15s on its own

Check your linkages and make sure when you hit the brakes it's not fully closing the slide in the carb. If it is then you need to set your idle gap to about 1mm and re set your throttle linkage.

If the carb is properly tuned it should be able to sit there and idle as long as you want it to.

Get yourself a nice OS engine for it!! the 18tz comes to mind!! LOL!

In all seriousness it is most likely just your linkage or maybe your idle needs to be adjusted. easy fix.

thanks...i think the problem is the spring on the clutch...so yea..
