<span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">Hey Guys,
I'm only new here so forgive me if things dont seem right haha.
I own a traxxas nitro sport and want to buy some tools that will help me in maintenance and modifcations of the car.
Is there a complete R/C car tool kit available for purchase?
What are some of the basic tools one should have?
Any ideas would be much appreciate</span></span>d.

as far as ive seen theres no "complete" kit, reasons for this is all cars and trucks are different. they take different bits, sizes, tools for the job. duratrax make a few good multi tool kits that can help you on you way, its good to have a large variety becuase youll never know what youll encounter

Well Huddy makes good rc specific tools but I use Husky tools ar Craftsman. They are a lot cheaper. I say you need to get a Glow Plug wrench. Dynamite makes a good one and a T wrench. Other than that use Husky or Craftsman tools you will spend a lot less money than buying tools from Huddy for example.

Not sure what your asking but if your referring to tools just to work on your truck its up to you as an individual to pick what you thing you might need.....Good luck and HAPPY RC'en ...........[link=http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/148001.asp]Starter kit ?[/link]

dynamite just came out with tool set that is put together for use with any traxxas car, give me a bit to find it
edit: http://rcdriver.com/forums/showthrea...light=dynamite
other than that all youd need is the usual nitro stuff and like others said a 4 way wrench that can remove glow plugs

Personally I own
Duratrax ultimate car wrench [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?I=LXTC89&P=8]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?I=LXTC89&P=8[/link] it also has a excellent glow plug remover seeing the end holds onto the plug. I own another plug remover but its a piece of trash compared to the duratrax one.
I also have a $10 screwdriver with 10 bits from the home depot, a pair of needle nose pliers, a set of hex keys, a cheap small flat head screw driver(for tuning), and 1 longer craftsman #1 phillips screwdriver (I only need it for my savage)
I've not run into anything I can't work on yet with my trucks.
