Help with tuning rustler 2.5

my engine is fully broken in. i lowered the idle a little bit so it idles for around 20 sec with out gas. i dont know why when i am idling an then go to full throttle instantly, the car slowly accelerates and then will start doing it. but when i am reving the engine a little bit and then go full throttle it responds. what is wrong?

was it rich on the lsn? that is normal symptoms for rich lsn. the engine is getting too much fuel at idle, so when you gun it it has to burn off the extra first.

no, the lsn wasnt rich enough and the high speed needle needed a little tuning. i had to richen it.

i have a question. how do i adjust my slipper clutch? i read to do it 1/4 turn out, what does that mean? do i tighten it as much as i can and then loosen it 1/4 turn?
