I know a guy who did it, no downsides. He moved the batteries forward to the front of the gas tank and added a few ounces of weight to the front end because it wheelied badly. I suggest gearing up as high as possible because that motor will provide more than enough torque to launch that little truck like a rocket. He went to a 24Tclutchbell and went smaller on the spur gear (66, 68T maybe). He basically went as small as he could on the spur. You get to a point where the motor won't go back any further to get mesh right, so you can only go so far down in teeth on the spur.It's fast
