Nitro MT1 question

Ive got one and upgraded to the t3.0 from HPI.HPI's website says to use the a801 flywheel for this engine but towerhobbies says this flywheel wont fit on a MT1 anyne have any experience with this set up?

The T3.0 is the same style engine as the T-15 is should fit fine. Actually you should have that same part on your old Nitro star .15FE engine seeing that was what the MT1 shipped with.
Now if you did a typo and meant the G3.0 than no it wouldn't

The flywheel from the .15fe wont fit.When it was manufactured it uses notch in the crank and a built in keyway in the flywheel to transfer power.

see the notch at top center of hole?
The T3.0 uses a brass collet.
