Default Started a new build

Took apart a rc10gt i had sitting in my garage this weekend and started bringing it up to date.

It is going to be repowered by my spare 3.3 for my revo. Finished removing the anodizing today and sanded it down smooth. Tommorow i will hit it with the buffing wheel at work and make it look like a mirror. I know this mod has been done before. So what else should i upgrade with the engine.

Wondering if anybody knows of a 48p gear that will attach to the rc10gt's tranmission. If not i am going to have to machine some special parts.

Why would you want to use a 48P gear? RRP makes a nice metal spur gear that works great with the GT. I would also upgrade the internal tranny gears to RRP.

NO! The RRP metal spur gear sucks, it wears faster than a plastic one and blows clutch bell bearings out like they are nothing.

the plastic gears do save the clutch bell and bearings for sure. even if you do strip a spur they are a lot cheaper to replace than the RRP steel spurs
