did you line up the exhaust orts in the sleeve with the exhaust hole in the crankcase?? in all my stupidity i myself have done this. Did you replace the wrist pin and those itty bitty clips??

RE: NEED HELP WITH ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i meant exhaust ports(ya know the holes in the sleeve??) and did you line them up with the exhuast opening in the crankcase (where the header goes) i know its common, sense. There is a wristpin that connects the piston to the conrod, you might need to replace that, but it sounds like you just need to put your needles back to break in specs, and break it in.

then how did you rebiuld the engine then?? j/k the conrod is the shaft in the motor, that connect to the crankshaft (the big shiny rod!) you may not need to replace it unless it cracked or siezed, (just the bearing then).
