HELP!
 

My 3.3 just freaked up its piston. Is there any where where I can just buy the piston, and not the sleeve. This is freaked if i have to buy both for 80 BUCKS! And how do I prevent this from happening?

If your piston is messed up so is your sleeve . Besides piston and sleeves are tapered fit to each other .

O ok well I was running it, and I dont know how to run the engine, or settings or w/e so i maxed out all screws (turinig to the right), and did a 3 and 1/2 turn the other way(the left). And the car finally stopped reving, and un reving like RUUUUUMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmRUUMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmRUMMMMMMM mmmm u get it. and also it stopped cutting out( I push the gas and the engine goes out.. So i began to run it and like 2 mins into it my engine revs like really high!!! And i push the gas and nonething happens, it just revs higher. So I pulled the fuel line to stop gas flow. And when i checked it, the piston was broke off. And dude how the frack do u put the pull start back on? When i put mines on I pull the string, and the gears and stuff dont move, but when i release it the gears and stuff move. GET IT? Thanx for all the help. I REALLY NEED IT!

It almost sounds like the one way bearing on the pull start is on reverse. Try it the other way.

ONE WAY BEARING!!!!! Um what do u mean!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!! flip it? And is my engine under warrentee? Its like a month old, only had 10 or so tanks through it!

I doubt it . Why would they cover it under warranty because you don`t know how to run it ? You said it , not me .

If the piston is broke as he states the pullstart will be doing this . Also if the one way was in backwards he wouldn`t be able to start the engine , it would just spin freely on the shaft .

When he was saying that he pulled on it and the gears didnt move and then when he released it they moved it sounded like the pull start was engaging when he released it like the one way bearing on the pull start was reversed.

How do I reverse it back? And I didnt know how to run it. So I red the instructions( lean out all the way and turn 3 and 1/2 turn richen) and I left idle and low speed the same. So really it was running fine, but it just snapped. They should replace it. It was clearly not my fault. And if some how it was, traxxas engined suck my ballz cux my thunder tiger .21 that came on my fusion NEVER did that!

He could have never started the engine if it was in backwards , unless he took it apart .

Thats what I was thinking that he was messing around with it. I have done that once and didn't realise it.

Yea I took it apart after the engine froze up. Thats how I found that the piston thingy broke.
