Engine winding out too fast?

so ive been runnin my NRusty for almost 2 quarts and today it seems like its winding out to full revs to fast. i did take apart the slipper clutch and spur but put it back together ike i remember and even tightened the slipper after noticing this problem.

Any suggestions for a nube?

I have been known to go through 2 gallons in a little over a week. When I go to the track I use at least 1/2 gallon in a visit.

Damn, it took me over 2 months to run a gallon, that's running 2 cars, one .15 and one .12. And i run them almost ever day.

so just keep tightening the slipper little by little? i already have the spring pretty compressed.

ill take a photo...

do this, pick the truck up, hold both back wheels, try to turn the slipper. If it turns, tighten it. I have mine tightend down as far as I can.

just occurred to me, do the red pins in the spur have to be sticking out equal on both sides?

if you tighten the slipper down all the way it wont matter.. It will only matter if you want the slipper to be functional.
