RE: finally!!!
Get a Duratrax Piranha Digital Peak Charger. It'll charge your RX and TX packs! And it only takes an hour or two...
Those overnight chargers hardly work on high capacity batteries like the one you're using. The $50 spent on a good charger is well worth it. |
RE: finally!!!
ok, well on the box of the one i bought, it says "universal TX/RX charger"
lol but it seems to work pretty well. i onyl have like 1 hour left of an overnight charge. =D |
RE: finally!!!
so you are using recharable batteries in the remote and and the car
|
RE: finally!!!
yes.
is that bad? |
RE: finally!!!
you'll want a 6.0v hump pack
|
RE: finally!!!
where could i get one of those?
or actually, what do they look like? |
RE: finally!!!
Any 5 cell rx pack is 6 volts. You run into low voltage issues when you use rechargeable AA batteries in the 4 cell holder.
Alkaline batteries have 1.5 volts per, while NiCd, and NiMh batteries have 1.2 volts. That is why you want an extra cell in the rx pack if you go rechargeable. |
