Default Help with design

I need your ideas...
I just bought a new body for my nitro.
I have a list of things im adding to it for the hell of it, the biggest problem im faced with is, I have no idea what colour to do it or even what decals, paint scheme would suit it best.
I did think of a tiger design but seeing as I DONT have an airbrush and even if I managed to score a cheap one, Ive got no airbrush exp.. got paintbrush and aerosol exp only.
I can make my own waterslide decals but have heard you can print and glue some inside ones.. nice thought, any more info or how to on this would be good.
Any design ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The following is whats going into this body.

front mounted intercooler
disc brake rotors and calipers
roll cage
exhaust
working head / tail lights
light activated driving lights
Working brake lights
Underbody lights

All the above has been designed and or built, just have no idea on the body colour(s).

well the best design in my oppion is a solid color of any sort and a few spots of where it looks like the paint shedded off and then looks like there is a carbon fiber effect underneath the layer of paint.

I think thats the type of design that will work best on that type of shell, something too fancy or bright will overwealm your other more scale features.

If your making the rest of the car look "scale" then you dont want the body to look too unrealistic.

Here is the latest version of my brains image of what I might do... if you look closely you can see I have very little life and added a roll cage in the pic and also a sunroof... both of which I plan to add to the real body.
your opinions on the stars would be good.... to star or not to star.
Cheers

I get that the second pic has been modified. Is the first pic computer generated as well?

They arent computer generated, they are modified with photoshop to help come up with a design idea for my latest car... hence the original post and topic 'help with design'
the car hasnt been done yet, just the pics to see if it will look any good.

what is it with everybody and flames? I hate the damn things but i must be the only onecoz a lot of people I have spoke with all say flames.
The masking for the stars is super easy, I got some different size star stickers, just stick them inside the shell like standard masking and peel off when Im finished... seeing they are silver, that will be the last coat and make it easy to do.
