Has anyone ever tried printing your design on regular printer paper and then putting painters or masking tape on it then painting over that? If so how did it do? is this good for making a fade on an image?

i dont quite understand what you are trying to say... I mean if i wanted say a unique stripe on my car. If i drew up that stripe on my computer, printed it out, and then put masking or painters tape etc.. over it would this work to make a good clean stripe? Could i do a fade with it?

I do that. I print out designs then trace onto tape and cut out the designs.
