RE: STRIPPING PAINT!!
I used nail polish, but it takes a lot of rubbing to get the stuff off...But it does work.
I bought some laquer thinner and Im gonna try that next.

make it not clear. do you know what sand blasted glass looks like? it looks like that. laquer eats away at the lexan making it loose it transparency. hope that makes sense.

RE: STRIPPING PAINT!!
I used Castrol Degreaser. Like this:
http://www.castrolauto.com/products/...ategory=6#uses
I bought one spray bottle, and then put the body and all of the degreaser in a big Ziplock bag. (If you don't do that, you won't have enought to cover the entire body.) Even though this stuff is biodegradable, be carefull. It is strong stuff. Only let the body sit in that stuff for 12 hours, tops. I would use a toothbrush and scrub on the paint a little every couple of hours or so.
Something to think about: The cleaner alone is $5, and a whole new body is $15 - $20. Factor in all the hassle and clean-up, just spend the $$ and get a new body.

RE: STRIPPING PAINT!!
Of course you can strip paint ,it's just you have to know how too.
I saw somewhere on the net that you can use brake fluid as a paint stripper.
Is it true?

RE: STRIPPING PAINT!!
power washer. ive only used it on low pressure to clean the dirt inside the body but it seems to take te backer off. i am sure with stronger pressure the paint could come off again i havent had the chance to try since im not in any hurry to paint a new body.

RE: STRIPPING PAINT!!
DFOX is right! Brake fluid will remove lexan paint.
The trick is that you need to keep applying the brake fluid with a brush and keep the paint 'wet' with brake fluid until it starts to wrinkle. Take a stiff nylon brush and remove the wrinkled paint. If some paint refuses to come off, just re-apply brake fluid and keep applying it until it gets wrinkled.
It will take maybe an hour or two and it's a pain to do.
Don't ask me how I know this.

I used easy off oven cleaner on one of my bodies. the paint came off, butif there's a little left you gotta do it again, but dont leave it on too long it'll melt the body.
