Default escalade body=paint ?

i jsut order an escalade body for savage since stock on is bacily trash from all the bashing and i was wondering if i lay down a design and mask it off then i wanted to out line that mask lets say in red but the red paint wasnt polycarbonate it was modelers paint. then i spray down the color i want over that and finish the painting. ( so i layed down the red paint then spray a polycarbonate color over it). would the red paint more than likely chip off since its not polycarbonate or would i be good since i cover it with a polycarbonate paint?

the red would eventually crack because it is'nt flexible, but it would stay in place because of the backing, so you might not see the cracking. hope that helps
