paint mask ?
hey guys i bought my xxx main paint mask
and i have a ?
i want to paint my mazda rx8 yellow with the stripes being black..
how would i do this
do i apply the masks first and then paint the whole car yellow and then the black
or do i paint the mask or black and then the yelow
and i have a ?

you have got two options, As a rule of thumb you should always try to paint dark colours first. this prevents darker colours being visible through lighter colours.
so as per this rule paint the black sections first.
the other option is to mask the areas to be black and paint yellow first. allow this to dry then apply several fine coats of white. when this has dried peel off the mask and paint the black sections. if the white is applied properly then you should not be able to see the black through it.
Its swings and roundabouts, the first method involves more of the shell to be masked and the second option is easier to mask but generaly uses more coats of paint.
back the yellow with white in both methods for best results.
