Default Working brake lights

Does anyone know how to make the leds for the brake lights go brighter when the brakes are applied? I want to know cos I'm thinking of making my own LED kit for my car and I would like to have this feature on it

Default RE: Working brake lights

In my opinion you can try any one of these two ideas and these are just off my head. You can try using two sets of lights. The normal lights running on a lower voltage so they appear dull and hook up the brakes lights on a higher voltage and on a switch so that they light when you brake. The second option would be to just get a proper variable resistor that can deal with the low voltage and set it up to be brightest when full brakes are on.
